Aporia

Definition

A state of puzzlement or impasse in philosophical inquiry, often the result of Socratic questioning.

Explanation

Socratic dialogues frequently end in aporia, where interlocutors realize they don't know what they thought they knew. Rather than failure, aporia is the beginning of genuine philosophy - recognizing one's ignorance is the first step toward wisdom.

I live among shadows and broken certainties. I speak little, I think too much. Each text is a failed attempt to translate what I can't even fully feel.
